Michael is a professional mechanical engineer with focus on higher education, research, healthcare facilities, and related design of HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, medical and laboratory gases, fuel storage and distribution systems, and BAS. Michael’s involvement in pursuit, design, construction and commissioning phases of multiple P3 and design-build projects has also influenced his unique and practical approach to mechanical design which balances system performance, resiliency, sustainability, constructability, maintainability, and cost. Michael recently led the mechanical design of a new college that prioritized sustainable development and included collaborative working environments, study areas, wet labs, classrooms and an innovative “global classroom”.
