Thorsten graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and began his career in the oil and gas business before working in a pulp and paper mill in Kenora, Ontario
Thorsten continued his career in the pulp and paper sector, moving to different mills in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec; even working in Florida and Georgia. After 20 years, he left the pulp and paper sector to be a “boots on the ground” engineer that works hands-on with clients to provide solutions to real problems.
